Our mission is to provide opportunities for social, emotional, and academic growth before entering Kindergarten. This program is dependent on numbers. Please enroll early. Age requirements: Turn five (5) between September 2, 2024 and December 1, 2024. |

Gross Motor Skills
Gross motor skills involves focusing on large muscle groups and whole body movement. Research shows a great deal of relationship between gross motor skills and learning to read. Fine Motor Skills Fine motor skills involves building strength in small muscles and being able to control the muscles needed for writing. Social Skills Learning to get along with others and cooperate with others in a group. Attention/Listening Skills Learning to focus and sustain attention, follow directions, and identify important concepts. Phonemic Awareness Phonemic awareness is the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds. Examples include beginning sounds, ending sounds, and rhyming. Phonemic awareness needs to be developed before learning to read. Visual Perception Visual perception involves being able to distinguish foreground and background, form and shape, size, and position. Reading and writing both require mature visual perception. Academic Skills Academic skills in Junior Kindergarten include learning letters and sounds, counting and number recognition, shapes, patterning, sorting and classifying, as well as science and social studies concepts. |

2024-2025 JK - 8th grade Tuition Rates, a Monday through Friday school week. Non-parishioner tuition commitments having more than one student in Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade receive a $1000 scholarship for each additional student. |
